About Me
I am an 8th grade science teacher at Zachry Middle School. I’ve been here for 5 years and really like my school and my students! I adore animals and have a kingsnake that lives in my classroom. She is quite old and cranky and isn’t the kind of class pet that is cuddly, but she’s interesting! A parakeet named Mr. Baggins and a Sulcata tortoise named Hermes are occasional visitors to the room as well. I am seen quite frequently throwing things or dancing in the hallways during passing periods and am only a little more sane during class. I hate being cooped up in this windowless room, but since I get to play with science toys, I’ll live with it. I try to blow things up and catch things on fire as often as possible in my teaching. Before teaching, I worked with injured wildlife and enjoy doing that in my free time. Ha! Free time! he he he
